2024 EXECUTIVE BOARD

Mia White (she/her)

Chapter President

Why GPhi?
The moment I first stepped into GPhi, I felt seen and valued in a way I had never been before. The girls here show constant appreciation and admiration for one another, and commit themselves fully to everything they do. Whether it is academics, work, or just showing up as a friend, each girl inspires me in a new way constantly, and always push me to be the best version of myself.

Favorite GPhi Memory?
One of my favorite memories here at GPhi was from the primary recruitment week, during which several girls in my MC had birthdays. Despite how tired everyone was from the long days that week, we all still put together a little surprise gathering for them on our deck full of their fav snacks and drinks. No matter how exhausting life gets, everyone here constantly goes above and beyond to make each other feel special and celebrated, and we put each other before everyone else.

Sarah Hunneke (she/her)

Administrative Vice President

Why GPhi?
Ever since my first time in the house, GPhi has felt like a home away from home. Every member of this chapter makes me feel loved and valued for who I am.  It's amazing to be surrounded by so many dedicated, compassionate, and understanding girls. I am motivated daily by the things my friends are accomplishing. This chapter has helped me step out of my comfort zone in so many ways and I'm eternally grateful. GPhi has become my second family and I'm beyond happy to have a home here!

Favorite GPhi Memory?
My My favorite memory from GPhi so far was our green room sleepover at the end of our freshman year! It was such a fun time to look back at our first yar together and reminisce!

Mackenzie Williams (she/her)

Education Vice President

Why GPhi?
When What makes GPhi so special is the way that all of the incredible women in this house lift each other up. Each young woman in this house carries herself with so much confidence and empowerment. I feel so proud to be a part of an organization that truly lifts the members within it almost effortlessly. I look up to the unique, boss ladies of GPhi in so many ways.

Favorite GPhi Memory?
My favorite GPhi memory is of when me and my best friends woke up at 2 a.m. to spontaneously adventure hours away to hike near Mt. Rainier. I don't think I took the greatness of that moment standing at the summit in as much as I should have, but I truly think about that hike with those lovely girls quite often. I felt surrounded by people with the same love of nature, people, and life. 2-3 business days were necessary after this hike to recover from 0 hours of sleep, BUT extremely worth it.

Elke Strenk (she/her)

Public Relations Vice President

Why GPhi?
Choosing Gphi was easy because of the instant love I felt between the girls when I walked into the house during recruitment. As an out of state student, I felt uneasy about finding my forever home, but at Gphi I felt instantly loved, appreciated, and supported. This house and the amazing women that fill it have truly made Seattle my home away from home!

Favorite GPhi Memory?
My favorite Gphi memory is when our whole chapter went to the cut and did a bellyflop competition to celebrate the end of work week. It was so fun and silly and the best way to go into recruitment! It’s always so special when the whole house gets to be together!

Sophia Tastor (she/her)

Membership Vice President

Why GPhi?
I was really nervous going into recruitment being at a big school and knowing know but, but walking into Gphi felt instantly natural and accepting. As I went further into the recruitment process I was quickly meeting girls in Gphi who reminded me of all the people I love back home. These feelings still hold true as I now call Gphi my home away from home.

Favorite GPhi Memory?
It’s hard to pick just one favorite memory in Gphi, but I would say my favorites are when we are celebrating everyone’s birthdays. It’s so easy to celebrate the people you love and that clearly shows in Gphi. My MC makes sure to make every birthday the most loving, fun, and special day. Being away from home on your birthday can be hard but these girls make every moment worth it. I’m lucky to call this place my home as well :)

Annalise Toillion (she/her)

Finance Vice President

Why GPhi?
I chose Gphi because of the authentic, welcoming environment.

Favorite GPhi Memory?
My favorite Gphi memories have been skiing with my MC each Winter and running to jump in the cut in the Spring.

Catherine Rowland (she/her)

Panhellenic Vice President

Why GPhi?
I chose Gphi because of the immediate comfortability I felt the second I walked into the house for the first time. It didn't take long for me to realize that this was a place where I would feel seen, heard, and loved completely for who I am, without judgement. The girls in this chapter have made me more confident and comfortable in my skin. This place has given me people that I will have with me for the rest of my life!

Favorite GPhi Memory?
I think my favorite Gphi memory has to be game days. It's always so fun for everyone to get ready altogether and let off some steam after a long week of hard work with school, and really take time to just spend time with each other and root for the Huskies!
